Calendars

Here are some of the images used in my (very) short run calendars. I started creating these many years ago, produced on my own printer and long before there were templates for such things. Even though such templates now exist I have continued to create these calendars the "old fashioned" way for family and friends. The print run is always small and because the older images were optimized for printing on cardstock they may appear over-sharpened. Each year should be viewed as a whole - I generally like the balance of subjects chosen over the years. Cameras and computers have changed a lot since 1995, but Nature and the rules of composition remain the same. The calendar style changed frequently in the early years, but has now settled into a comfortable format. The originals included captions with the story behind each image - sadly, there is no room for that here, just a simple title. However, for some of the more recent calendars I am (slowly) adding the original captions in a separate area.
